We are excited to announce a new feature designed to bring more flexibility and convenience to our venues: Location Presets. This addition is aimed at helping high schools, stadiums, sports complexes, and other venues streamline their concession operations even further.

What are Location Presets?

Location Presets allow venues to set up different configurations for their concession stands depending on the event or day of the week. You can now switch between setups with just a few clicks. This is particularly useful for high schools that may have different events throughout the week, such as sports games or band pre-orders, allowing them to adapt their ordering system as needed.

For example:

• Preset 1: Pickup Window – Ideal for regular concession operations, a pickup window is where attendees can quickly grab their orders.
• Preset 2: Band Pre-Orders – This can be split into Home Band and Away Band setups. You can enable this preset on weekdays leading up to a football game, allowing both bands to pre-order food. On the day of the game, you can easily switch back to your standard pickup window setup.

Why is this Important?

High schools are one of the key venues that have been benefiting from BlazeBite’s flexible and user-friendly platform. With Location Presets, schools hosting multiple events can optimize their service to meet specific needs. Band pre-orders are a prime example where different presets can allow for better planning. Now you will know exactly which orders are for the home team and which are for the visitors.

Versatility Across Venues

This feature isn’t just for high schools. Stadiums and complexes that host a range of events can also benefit. For example, a minor league baseball stadium could use a preset for “In-Seat Delivery” during less busy games and a “Pickup Window” for busier events. Similarly, sports complexes hosting various events, such as bocce ball tournaments one day and MMA fights the next, can configure different presets to manage delivery and pickup options.

Real-Life Use Case Examples

• High School Band Pre-Orders: Many high schools have multiple events throughout the week. The ability to offer pre-orders for specific groups, like the Home and Away Bands during football games, can be a game-changer. By enabling a preset for Band Pre-Orders on Monday through Thursday, you can streamline the process of collecting orders in advance. This ensures that both bands are taken care of on game day. On Friday, simply switch back to the standard Pickup Window preset for the general crowd.
• Minor League Baseball: On busy days, when in-seat delivery might not be feasible due to limited staff, you can enable the Pickup Window preset, ensuring that fans can still enjoy BlazeBite without overloading your team. On quieter nights, you can activate the In-Seat Delivery preset to enhance the fan experience by delivering food directly to their seats.
• Sports Complexes: For example, during a bocce ball tournament, players may want their orders delivered to their courts. The next day, you could have an MMA fight with VIP tables where food needs to be delivered directly. Later in the week, a volleyball fundraiser might only require a pickup station. All of these can be set up in advance with different presets.
